SAINTS legend Norm Provan recently finished building his fifth "and final" home. The 10-time Premiership winning inspiration moved into a brand new house with wife Lindy in the ranges west of the Sunshine Coast at the start of 2005.
"We can see Mount Coolum and the moon shining on the water," Mr Provan, 73, said. "It's very nice and we are very happy."
The former Australian skipper was pictured in the November-February 2004 edition of this publication leaning on a fence post of the then-vacant block.
"It's three storeys high at the front because I could not get foundations and had to rip the hill side out," said the indefatigable property developer. "It's very modern with curved roofs and looks a bit like a sail."
While he continues working on larger developments, Mr Provan said he is highly unlikely to build another house after his latest move from nearby Caloundra.
"That should do it," he assured The Journal. |
