FIRST FLOOR I am pleased to advise that the Club's Development and Renovation Program is progressing well and that the Grange Restaurant has reopened as the Grange Function Room after being completely renovated.
This facility has a completely new décor and has been fitted with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, all of which allows a greater variety of functions to be held in the area.
Management is now arranging a program of entertainment and themed theatre-style restaurant events on a regular basis. Please check the next edition of the Journal for details.
INDOOR/OUTDOOR TERRACES The club has received Council approval for the construction of an indoor/outdoor terrace on the ground floor of the Club building. This area will add an inviting outdoor recreational environment for members, as well as preserve some facility for members who wish to smoke.
MASTERPLAN Club management is continuing to work with consultants and Kogarah Council to assess the opportunities to develop the Club building and surrounding land.
In the meantime, management will continue to upgrade the Club's infrastructure of air conditioning and power supply, as well as carry out all necessary compliance work to ensure the building meets relevant safety codes.
I look forward to providing a further update in the next edition of the Journal. Thank you for your patience. |
